Father's Day 2012

We celebrated Father's Day with the following presents.

 Here is the frame I made of our three boys on their first day of church. They are wearing the same outfit. The top left is Matthias about 6 days old. The one underneath him is Xander at 6 weeks and the far right is Kegan at 2 weeks old. It has been so fun to have boys. I am glad they are ours forever.



Here are the cupcakes I made. They are made to look like little hamburgers. It is really yellow cake mix cupcakes and brownie patties with red, yellow and green icing. Then I sprinkled sesame seeds on the top with a dab of water.

 Here is the card we made with the boys' handprints. Matthias' are red, Kegan's are yellow and Xander's are blue.

We are grateful to have a Papa who loves us and takes care of us.

John Deere denim rag picnic blanket

I have been working hard to make a blanket out of old jeans. I got all the jeans donated from friends and happened to have the John Deere material from times past. It was exciting because Matthias was able to help me sew some of the squares. He know how to back stitch, raise and lower the presser foot, turn the fabric and push the peddle. He has a great desire to learn how to do things. Here is the finished product. It is 6' x 7'

Xander turns 15 months old today! Here he is at play
